Ánh Thu 2 (maybe ?)

“Dù cho mưa tôi xin đưa em đến suốt cuộc đời… Dù cho mây hay cho bão tố có kéo qua đây…”
Tiếng nhạc du dương quen thuộc của Ngô Thụy Miên lại cất lên, len lỏi khắp căn phòng. Nó len qua từng vị khách một rồi vô tình đến cả với em. Cảm xúc lại trỗi dậy, kí ức trong em lại tràn về, vừa mãnh liệt vừa vô duyên một cách “đáng sợ” như cơn mưa tầm tã của buổi chiều hè. Em khẽ cười, chẳng biết bài hát này và ánh trăng sáng trên kia cái nào “đáng sợ” hơn. Không, có khi cả hai đang cùng muốn trêu vào tình cảm của em đây mà…!
Rồi em khẽ nhắm mắt lại, cảm nhậm mọi thứ tối dần. Tiếng nhạc cũng từ từ biến mất. Em khẽ ngạc nhiên, nghiêng đầu nhìn lên trăng mỉm cười, như thể chính trăng đã tạm thời gạt đi mọi thứ để mang em đến một thế giới khác. Không còn những tiếng xe ồn ào dưới ánh đèn hào nhoáng, hay những thân phận lùm xùm, lặng lẽ lướt qua lướt lại không ngừng nghỉ. Chỉ trăng và em.
Ánh trăng thật dịu dàng làm em cứ nhìn mãi không thôi. Môi em mỉm cười mà sao mắt em lại đượm buồn, ánh trăng sáng kia sao chẳng bùng lên hay tắt ngúm như đang chờ một điều chi xa vợi. Em lại khẽ cười, “Chàng kị sĩ chăng?” Một chàng kị sĩ đẹp trai đến từ ánh trăng óng ánh kia, thật ngọt ngào và tốt bụng. Chàng sẽ chẳng xấu xa và chẳng làm em đau… Ôi, sao em lại mơ mộng linh tinh như một đứa cấp hai thế này? Em lại khẽ thở dài…
Đèn vụt sáng và trước mặt em lại là tách cà phê màu nâu nhạt. Chẳng thấy chàng kị sĩ đâu, chỉ thấy một thằng ngồi đằng kia đang… lườm em chằm chằm. Em khẽ cau mày và đứng dậy.
“Dù có gió, có gió lạnh đầy, có tuyết bùn lầy, có lá buồn gầy… Dù sao, dù sao đi nữa tôi cũng yêu em…”
Lời bài hát như vẫn còn lưu luyến, cố mở cửa và chạy theo em vội vàng.

Chậc, thế là lại cái chiêu “phần một - phần hai” mất rồi. Mà có phần hai thì dễ ra thêm phần ba với phần bốn lắm =.=’. Ý tưởng thì chưa có lol.

How are you doing on your readings in general and more specifically in developing your vocabularies? Recently I started reading a book for my Finance class called The End of Wall Street by Roger Lowenstein. In the very first chapter of the book – a short 6-page prologue, there were many words that I did not know, and I am listing them here: destitute somnolent bulwark scrutinize (to) prick quiescent laudatory salient fervent (adj) frothy parlance umbilical (cord) placate carnage plenitude opiate dictum stupendous I was so surprised to see so many new words in such a small amount of pages! How is this Roger Lowenstein guy? You would think that while reading a finance book, the only words you would stumble upon are technical terms or lingos. Or maybe I am just bad. How many words in the list above that you already know?

It's Hard to Share!

I like to share. It’s not like donating stuffs (it’s good too) but more like… introducing to other people what I find interesting. So actually this post’s title should be: “ It’s Hard to… Introduce ”, but it wouldn’t sound as good. So there you go. Origami Extreme - Part 08!!!

The other day, I came to watch some of my friends performing in the play called The Birds, and it was really fun! So I decided to make another Origami collection; this time it’s about birds – small birds which (supposedly) are all nice and peaceful. Anyway, I love things that fly. Talking about Origami, I now find myself avoiding overly-complicated models each of which would take days to complete. Instead, I’d go for fairly simple ones which are fast to make and still look really nice.
