Canh khoai tây burger

Tôi vốn dốt nấu ăn. Chính xác mà nói thì những gì tôi học được từ mẹ là nấu cơm và chiên trứng. Trứng tôi chiên ngon lắm, nhưng ở US không có nước nắm hay tương như Việt Nam nên ăn dở như hạch. Biện pháp đành phải đặt ra để tồn tại là… tạo ra món ăn mới. Chuyện gì kém chứ chế ra thứ mới thì tôi cũng khá. Từ đó đến giờ tôi cũng có vài món gọi là tạm được :D.

Nói dóc thế cũng nhiều rồi, lần này tôi trình bày một món sở trường mà giang hồ gọi là Canh Khoai Tây

Burger
.
Vật liệu (cho hai người ăn):
- ½ củ khoai tây
- 2 củ cà rốt
- 4 miếng burger loại nhỏ
- gia vị tùy hứng

Cách làm:
- Cho burger vào nồi, đổ nước vào, rồi cho lên bếp.

- Trong lúc đợi thịt chín thì lấy khoai ra gọt và cắt nhỏ vừa vừa.

- Cà rốt cũng làm tương tự.

- Một lúc sau cảm thấy thịt có vẻ chín, lấy đũa đâm vào thấy không có gì đỏ đỏ chảy ra thì ok. Lúc ấy lấy burger ra và cắt miếng to bằng khoai tây lúc nãy.

Vớt hết bọt và bã và những thứ khó hiểu khác ra khỏi nồi nước. Sau đó cho khoai, cà rốt và burger vào lại nồi. Đợi thêm một hồi là cái gì cũng chín :D.

Tắt bếp. Cho chút muối, tiêu, và gia vị gì đó tùy hứng. Đừng nhiều quá. Thế là xong.
Dùng với cơm hay ăn không thì tùy.

Mùi vị: Nhàn nhạt nhưng ăn tốt. So với khoai lang luộc năm xưa thì ngon hơn nhiều! : D

I currently am working for Bank of America (BofA) as a teller, and it’s been 2 months now. A little bit about what I am, I am an international student whose first language is not English. I have interacted with English since kindergarten, and for the last four years I have been living in the US, using solely English for daily communications. Despite my effort of continual self-improving, I can’t quite understand the language. There have been explanations, of course, such as how it’s not my first language, how cultures and traditions get in place… Only recently, it strikes me with a more understandable reason: English is an ineffective language. There are so many disadvantages of English. First of all is the way one person talks to another. You can only use “I” and “you” no matter if the person you’re talking to is an earthworm or a high king. The same with “he”, “she”, “it”, and “they”. All the languages that I have ever associated with, which are French, Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese, and Cantonese, they have different words to address different people.
